The VOCORD Phobos hardware-software system supports specific functions for digital audio processing such as effective noise reduction, accelerating and decelerating of playback without tone alteration, spectral filtering and filter synthesis.
Noise Reduction
The noise reduction module is a part of the client component of the VOCORD Phobos recording system. It includes adaptive wide- and narrowband filtering package, frequency n-band graphic equalizer and automatic signal level control (AGC) package. Every package has special settings and can be applied when needed. Noise reduction works in the real-time operation mode.

Accelerating and Decelerating of Playback without Tone Alteration
The accelerating and decelerating of playback function is very useful when working with audio recordings. Yet standard changing of playback speed causes alteration of voice tone which results in poor speech intelligibility.
VOCORD Phobos allows accelerating and decelerating of playback fourfold with no voice tone alteration, considerably increasing operator’s performance.
