Applications

Autonomous network server VOCORD LD8 is designed for parallel connection to 8 two-wire digital subscriber lines (DSL) of PBXs and PSTN, and can be used to input, decode, process and broadcast DSL data via Ethernet (TCP/IP).

Description

The VOCORD LD8 is an autonomous device for parallel or serial connection to digital subscriber lines of PBXs and PSTN.  It is designed to perform input/output, decoding, processing and broadcasting over TCP/IP networks of the information transmitted via such lines.  VOCORD LD8 is controlled by an embedded Linux operating system and comprises a VOCORD D8 board installed into a VOCORD-LD chassis.  VOCORD LD8 is connected into a LAN/WAN network via an embedded Ethernet 10/100 Mbps adapter.  The VOCORD system controls all functions of the board and receives the information via a global TCP/IP network (including the Internet).

VOCORD LD8 has the following components:

  • 4 digital signalling processors for high quality software implementation of DSL protocols
  • 1 Ethernet port, 10/100 Mbps Full Duplex 
  • RISC processor for implementation of algorithms for input/output and interaction beween DSPs and central processor software
  • 4 channels, DMA Bus Master 132 МBps
