Types of violations:

Detection of all types of violations is included in the basic functionality of the system and does not require the purchase of additional licenses for the software, except of violation “Failure to stop for a pedestrian” (requires purchase a license of pedestrian detection).

For registration of violations at the straight road sections are used multilane VOCORD Cyclops complexes, which controls from 2 to 4 traffic lanes of one or two directions. Complexes used radar or optical method of speed measuring.

Advantages of the complex VOCORD Cyclops:

  • The equipment can be mounted on any roadside pillars.
  • Monoblock with universal bracket. The complex is easy to mount and maintain.
  • Minimal quantity of settings on control point. Mounting of equipment takes an average of 1-2 hours.
  • The mechanism of automatic auto-calibration and optimization of program settings.

The structure of VOCORD Cyclops:

For processing data from VOCORD Cyclops complexes is used switchboard cabinet with built-in street server VOCORD SSCross. VOCORD SSCross is a complete solution for ensuring electricity supply of the control point and protection of communication lines and energy supply. VOCORD SSCross is convenient to mount and maintain. It provides a minimum quantity of commutations at the control point: VOCORD SSCross and VOCORD Cyclops complex are connected only by power supply and local area network. To VOCORD SSCross are also connected only the power supply and local area network.

Data from the control point are automatically unloads to the archive server with installed on it Traffic Archive software and exports to Police data centers.

Data transfer is possible by wired and wireless channels (Wi-Fi, 3G/4G, GPRS), as well as in manual unloading mode through the built-in Wi-Fi router. In the case of connection failure the street server works in the mode of autonomous data archiving. Autonomous work period can range from 24 hours and more, depending on the requirements of the customer and the server model.

To each VOCORD SSCross switchboard cabinet can be connected up to 2 VOCORD Cyclops complexes.

Registration of average speed allows dealing with violators, who knows about the installed systems, and reduces the speed before the control point and then rapidly accelerated to forbidden speed.

For registration of average speed 2 control points are equipped in the beginning and in the end of the road section. Based on registering time of the vehicle at the first and second control points and length of the road section an average speed of the vehicle is calculated. Radars are not used for registration of average therefore this system cannot be detected by radar detectors.

Minimal length of average speed control zones is 500 m, maximal length is unlimited, any road bends are allows if the difference between length of left and right road sides is not exceed 1%.

Through the original image enhancement algorithm built into VOCORD NetCam4 video camera, the system generates high quality photo materials for an evidence base even at night time, when the external lighting is completely absent on the road.

Equipment:

  • Specialized video cameras for license plate recognition VOCORD NetCam4

On crossroads are mounted VOCORD NetCam4 specialized video cameras for license plate recognition, which controls from 2 to 4 traffic lanes depending on the model, and cameras for video surveillance (CCTV). VOCORD NetCam4 video cameras are taking pictures of the vehicles close-up. Cameras are taking pictures of the overall view, where you can see the vehicle, traffic light signal, etc., and it is also recording video (optionally according to customer’s request). 

All video cameras can be mounted on any roadside pillars without constructing of additional supports. The total number of cameras depends on the particular crossroad and types of violations, which are planned to registrate.
